Scientific name: Calla palustris
Possible uses: flu, shortness of breath, bleeding, swelling, snakebites

Possible side effects: raw plant contains calcium oxalate, which can burn and irritate skin and burn mucous membrane if taken internally
Description: shining oval, heart-shaped leaves, to 6 in. long. Flowers are white spathe clasping a golden, spadix.
