Credible resources
The following resources, to me, are credible in the sense that they just report facts and no "feelings" or anything that would give skepticism to professionals.
Taylor's Guide to Herbs

This one talks about the individual herbals, give pictures and tells what part of the herbal is used for.
Eastern/Central Medicinal Plants and Herbs

This one talks about the individual herbals, give pictures and tells what part of the herbal is used for.
The Green Pharmacy

What I really like about this book is that there's some studies that are included (although the author does not make any specificity as to which case)
God Given Korean Ginseng

Who wouldn't want a whole book talking about a specific herb. There's scientific journal articles that are used in the reference.
Tyler's Herbs of Choice

This is the one my professor recommended to me
Herbs A to Z

Possible credibility

a Kindle on Amazon that's free and you can find it here
Adventures in Edible Plant Foraging

This is really good in telling you about the different species of plants plus some recipes, doesn't tell you about herbal use though.
