Description: low-growing perennials with clusters of everlasting flowers. A hardy perennial that spreads 12-18 in. wide, making a low mat of dark grey-gray foliage that lasts late into the fall. Blooms for a long season in summer, with stalks 12 in. tall that branch near the top, holding clusters of small rounded blossoms like little white strawflowers. Zone 4
How to grow: Full sun. Does best in well-drained soil with regular watering. Tolerates sandy soil and dry spells; grows as a roadside wildflower on rough exposed sites. Foliage may rot in hot, wet, or humid conditions. Easily propagated by seed or division.
