Fresh Ginger Tea

Uses: acid reflux, nausea, heartburn
Ingredients

  • 8 oz water
  • 1 (2-in.) section gingerroot
  • Honey or stevia (optional)

Directions

  1. Boil the water.  While the water is heating, peel the gingerroot and slice it as thinly as possible. Place the gingerroot in a mug or teapot.
  2. Add the boiling water, cover the mug or teapot, and allow the ginger to steep until the tea has cooled enough to drink.  Sweeten the tea with a small amount of honey or stevia (if using).
  3. Drink up to 3 cups a day
