Evening Primrose

Name: Evening Primrose
Scientific name: Oenothera biennis
Possible uses: PMS, eczema, chroic skin condition that causes itchy, red, scaly patches; diabetic polyneuropathy, alcoholism, obesity, heart disease, cancer prevention, bowel pain, asthma, migraines, inflammations, breast problem, metabolic disorders, arthritis, diabetes, prostatitis, wound healing, stroke prevention, lower cholesterol, lower blood pressure, anti-clotting
Part of plant used: roots
Active constituent: gamma-linolenic acid
Drug interactions: anticonvulsants, warfarin

Despite the three sources that I'm looking through right now say "oh, there's actual studies done, we won't write much on it."  I've found more in ginkgo than I have for this one and yet I think this has the most possible indications yet.  I'll be interested to see the actual clinical studies once I get to it.
