Possible uses: tones skin and muscles, appetite stimulant, digestion, impotence, demulcent, tonic, increase mental efficiency, physical performance, adapting to high or low temperature, stress, cancer preventative, fatigue
Part of plant used: roots
Possible side effects: increase blood pressure
This herb is ideally to be used by elderly since it's helps them more. It's illegal to harvest the roots before the berries ripen (turns a reddish color). The full and exact knowledge of this herbal is still in dispute.
